Water Views + Pool - Newly Renovated Home in South Bellport Village
LOCATION!! LOCATION! Water Views and Heated 50' Saltwater Pool. This newly-renovated and very comfortable 3 BR, 2.5 bath home is in a quiet location in charming Bellport Village, one property in from the Great South Bay. Our home is a 15 minute walk/3 minute bike ride to town and a marina and ferry to HoHum beach on Fire Island. Other Village amenities include sailing lessons, golf, tennis, yoga, shops, galleries, and restaurants. Please inquire about ferry/beach, golf, and tennis access. The space Located in a quiet family neighborhood on .5 acres. This is not a party home but is the perfect place to enjoy time together with your friends and family! The home was substantially renovated in 2020 and 2021. Renovation highlights: new windows, new kitchen with all new appliances, new master bath, refinished floors, new second-story deck with a dining table and beautiful bay views, and a new 50' heated swimming pool. The other baths have been renovated (new vanities, floor, wall paper, toilets) but retain their vintage pink and green tiles, which we love and hope our guests do, too! The main floor includes a large living room, half bath, washer/dryer, study, fully-equipped kitchen, dining room (table seats up to 12), and a large (25' x 13') sunny screened-in-porch overlooking the backyard and pool. The second floor features three bedrooms: 1 king with water views and new en suite master bath with walk-in shower, 1 queen, 2 twin beds (extra-long that can be combined to make a king); a second bath with tub/shower and double sink vanity, and large deck w/ dining table - perfect for taking in sunrise and sunset views over the bay. Finished basement/ play space. Other amenities: outdoor shower, gas grill, cable TV, high-speed internet, central A/C (except the basement), outdoor furniture, 1-car garage, beach umbrella and chairs, and 4 bicycles for buzzing around town and going to and from the marina and ferry. Guest access Bellport and nearby Patchogue are accessible by Long Island Railroad and local taxi and private ride services are available. Shopping and Village amenities are all within walking and biking distance. We have spent many summers without a car - though it's nice to have one if you want to explore beyond Bellport - the North Fork, Sag Harbor, Hamptons, etc. Please note that cars parked on the street overnight may be ticketed, but there is ample parking in our driveway for two cars. Other things to note Our home is a short walk or bike ride to the ferry which takes passengers to Fire Island and Bellport's very own Ho-Hum Beach with a snack shack, showers, and lifeguard stand. There are no homes on this section of Fire Island and the dunes and silky white sand beach stretch for miles to the east and west. Mother's Beach, a lovely bay beach with a small playground (but no lifeguards) is 2 miles from our home and like Ho-Hum Beach, is available to residents (with Village IDs) and their guests. Please note that the ferry is available to Bellport Village ID holders and their guests only and runs seasonally.
