Swimming hole, hot tub, fire pit, views for miles

The Roost Haus is our guest home in the heart of the hill country on 20 acres of land- Bird Haus Farms. Enjoy the front yard, picnic tables, views, fire pit and hot tub. We have lots of wildlife- deer, coyotes, raccoons all live close by.

We are 5 minutes to the Guadalupe river, and just 25 minutes to New Branufels or Boerne. 8 minutes to downtown Bulverde. The wine country in Fredericksburg is under an hour away, as is downtown San Antonio. 5 minutes to restaurants, Wal Mart, and H‑E‑B.

Hill country views and a beautiful front yard

The 'master' bedroom is upstairs. with a sitting area (including futon) and king bed, with an attached full bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with a queen bed in each. There is a full bathroom downstairs.

Open and cozy living/kitchen/dining area with butcher block counter tops. Stained concrete floors. There is a small sectional couch and chair for 4-5 people to gather.

We provide coffee and kitchen essentials (salt, pepper, olive oil).

Waiver require to swim in the pond.

The property is on a gravel driveway. There is another guest house and the main house about 75 ft away.

We live on the property about 50 yards away. We are available to answer your questions via text or phone during your stay. We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We love to chat and meet our guests, but we also understand if you prefer privacy. You may see and hear our kids playing nearby.

There are so many things to do in this area! Our favorite coffee shop is just around the corner off hwy 281, there are multiple sit down and fast food options across the highway. We are right across the highway from the Hampton Inn (the only hotel in the area). Downtown Bulverde is charming and there's a great park for kids/teens.

The easiest way to get around is by car-- you can also find Uber and Lyft in this area.

There is an additional charge of $100 for bringing a pet. You assume responsibility for your activities on our property, and for your dogs.

The house can sleep 8 people in beds (including the futon) but is ideal for 4-6 adults.

We use a rainwater system- it tastes amazing! Please help us conserve.

We have 3 other rentals on the same property (Bird Haus Farms).

There is a camera facing the parking area.

If you’re using the grill/fire pit please bring charcoal/starter logs and firewood (available at wal mart or H‑E‑B across the highway).
