Welcome to my relaxed, eclectic home which reflects my travels and diverse interests. You’ll be able to enjoy the large yard and flowers throughout the growing season from the back deck hammock. My home is within minutes of major highways, diverse local eateries and shopping, three major grocery stores and medical facilities. The space The home is light, open, and serenely quiet. The vaulted living room space has Southwestern-style hand-carved wood posts, corbels, and mantel over the gas fireplace. I hope you’ll enjoy my eclectic living room opening upon the deck. I’ve added decor items and guide books from my travels around the world. Enjoy the picnic table, flowers and roam the backyard. The Ultimate Sac “couches” are perfect for reading and napping. Skylights bring natural light in any time of the day. In the winter we can set up a fire in the gas fireplace although it’s not available for guests to start by themselves as the flue needs a special technique to open and close safely. Guest access You have access to the kitchen with laundry, the main living area and only the room/s you booked during your stay unless we make a special agreement in writing. The full bathroom in the hallway is shared by 2 rooms. The private areas are the master bedroom (unless it is needed for the occasional overflow guests,) the basement, garage and garden/utility shed. My therapy office is open to the living room but sectioned off and can only be used by authorized licensed practitioners with one week advance notice. The printer on the desk maybe used with permission via the USB cable. There is also a large monitor in the cabinet near the fireplace that has cables to connect it to most laptops if you have the skill to set it up if we aren't available to help you. During your stay Host interaction is driven by the guest; if you desire more conversation...or more reserved contact, the host is flexible to easily accommodate. Other things to note I appreciate your care in keeping our home clean and returning items to their places. NON-SMOKING Household or on the property. You are welcome to use the stove and microwave and a few staple items if you choose to cook. A variety of teas, and basic coffee is available to make in a French press. I'm happy to share my printer and separate computer monitor if I am present. Please, NO 3rd PARTY bookings.
