This is very much a rural, rustic cabin and not a substitute for a hotel. We are obviously very well liked and reviewed, but those satisfied guests in the past had appropriate expectations for a clean and cozy base camp to hike, paddle, fish, ski or just relax. If you are put off by things like bugs or the occasional critter, have never used a woodstove, or are wondering the distance to the closest sushi place we'd encourage you to do a little more research on rural, Northern Michigan or seek different accommodations. We do not want to let you down!
