Tucked away on a 40 acre private estate 'The Wildflower Ranch' is located in the remote section of Willis, Texas. Less than 15 minutes to Lake Conroe, Houston's Playground. Remote enough to feel like you really are getting away to the country, however still convenient enough to be less than 25 minutes to world class dining & shopping in The Woodlands. With the lake close by, you can enjoy some of the nations top fishing, water craft rentals, we do offer lake access for you to bring your own boat. Three homes, 40 acres to make your dream wedding or other special event! Private vehicle will be most convenient, UBER and Taxi services are available locally. There is no public transportation. The place is 15 minutes to the freeway, 55 minutes to IAH (George Bush Intl Airport) & Downtown Houston. The Woodlands is 20-25 minutes and offers all various of entertainment, food, music, etc. All major needs are only 10 minutes away (groceries, fuel, banking, etc). Enjoy fishing on site in our pond, or take a short drive from the Lake for Championship Level Fishing. Just a bit further to reach a 27-hole golf course, as well as sailing, waterskiing, and other water sports. Hiking and biking trails are a great way to explore nearby Sam Houston National Forest. For big-city activities, plan a drive to Houston, less than an hour away. Close by is Old Town Spring with many arts and crafts shops as well as the Conroe Outlet Mall. Located not far is the Texas Renaissance Festival #TexRenFest, held for 9 weekends in October-November. Bring your boat and explore beautiful Lake Conroe. Please inquire about our 'Whole Property' rentals. On-site we have Jake's House of Animal Rescue, a non-profit animal shelter. This area is not accessible to guests without the presence & assistance of a Staff Member, but we are happy to set up a tour. Your event helps support animals in need. We do consider events on a case by case basis. Please contact us about event services & pricing. We host License to Carry (LTC) Classes in the back part of the property. At times there will be live firing of Guns.
