Semi-private Room in Country Home w/Park Access

Set on a country acre, convenient to Balt., D.C., Annapolis, and Rts. 70 and 95, our wrap-around front porch welcomes you to come and relax, and the state park across the street beckons you to come hike, bike, & explore. Semi-private bedroom, private bath, w/with pretty and comfortable shared spaces, such as family room with stone fireplace, a spacious kitchen & dining room, a piano room & "wine bar", and a lower level with pool table, gym, and a 2nd fam. room w/TV. Breakfast avail. on req. The space Your semi-private bedroom and private bath are located in our lower walk-out level, with family room and TV, access to our home gym, and pool table. Quiet hours are between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. I am an "amateur chef" and wine connoisseur - my husband and I love to prepare meals for guests and can provide a full breakfast or dinner with advance notice and an additional fee (wine can be included). Guest access When you stay in our single semi-private alcove bedroom, you will have a private full bath with tub and shower. You will also have access to the lower level family room and television, pool table, and home gym. You are free to use the front porch or backyard with glider swing and outdoor dining table. You are also welcome to use the dining room or the piano (depending on the time). You can enter the state park right across the street from our house or walk 1/4 mile down our road to additional access points. During your stay My husband and I primarily work from home and will be on-site for much of your stay, as will our golden retriever and 3 indoor/outdoor cats (who make themselves scarce when "strangers" are near). We are happy to help with anything you need and love to interact with guests, but if little-to-no interaction is preferred by guests, we are fine with that as well. We can provide you with lists of nearby attractions, unique local eateries, and info about the park across the street. Other things to note The space we offer to guests is not suitable for those with disabilities as there are a few steps to enter the home as well as 10-12 steps to the rented semi-private room in our lower level. The rental also does not include kitchen privileges or use of family areas on the main and upper levels. We are a fairly busy, active household with some of us working remotely from home and plenty of coming-and-going! Our rental is best suited for someone who just needs somewhere to sleep but plans to be out exploring the state park or other nearby areas.
