When you're ready to retreat from the city, this private basement apartment in the Seaview neighborhood is just steps from the Lincoln Park, Alki Beach, and local restaurants and bars along California Ave SW. The space You will enter through our basement door, and your unit has a lockable door for your privacy. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer in the common basement space. There is plenty of street parking available in front of the house. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, and the living room has a full-sized pull-out sofa bed. You are also welcome to use our backyard and grill. We live above the space and work from home, so you will hear us going about our daily lives. Our house was built in 1926, so it's heavy on charm but a bit light on soundproofing! We are conscious of keeping things as quiet as possible, especially during morning and evening hours. Please note that this is a basement apartment in an old home with lower than standard ceilings, including a beam in the shower as pictured. Potential guests 6ft and taller may be more comfortable in another home. No cable TV, but you are welcome to log into your streaming services.
