The pushed-air from the central air-conditioning and heating system keeps our duplex warm in winter and cool in summer! This is a pet free home. Guest access While we live on the ground floor of this two-storey home, you will have your own space on the upper floor of this charming dwelling. Your upstairs home will include a comfortable queen-size bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a three-seater leather sofa in a spacious living room that extends into the dining room. An office space well-lit by the sun through a door's window that leads to a fairly spacious balcony. This office space is equipped with large desk and comfortable chair. A computer and printer should be at your disposal! The bathroom has a shower and a small bathtub... towels included! Other things to note At 277, you will be in the centre of Ottawa, about a 5 to 10-minute walk from the ByWard Market, the National Gallery of Canada and perhaps 15 minutes from Foreign Affairs. National Defence, the Rideau Centre and Parliament are also nearby, about a 10-minute walk away! For breathtaking panoramic views, you can drive to the Gatineau Park Hills in 15 minutes. It is also a great place to cycle, hike, jog or cross-country ski. Bicycle and jogging paths are abundant in Ottawa, including along the Rideau Canal and the Ottawa River, located about 10 minutes by bike! The Loblaws grocery store, open until 10PM, the LCBO (with a good selection of wines) and Ottawa's best repertory cinema, the Bytowne Cinema, are three blocks from us, as is the Shopper's Drugmart pharmacy, which has a post office.
