Historic home on old Erie canal w/low monthly rate

Charming house but please note the house is set back from the road up on a hill and requires a walk and steps to get to. It is not for the feint of heart.. It is along a path about 400 feet from street parking. It is like a little cabin surrounded by nature but steps from the downtown. There are 5 + 12 + 3 steps to get to the house and 16 more steps in the house to get to the room. It can be hard to find and it is a dark pathway to get there if u arrive after night. The space Nice house with awesome views of famous Harmony Mills. Small and quaint but with nature solitude and surrounded by history. River view in spring and fall. Steps from historic Erie canal lock. Easy walk to waterfalls and downtown. TV is available in the living room for guest use. Awesome berry patch out the front door! If u come at harvest season you can step out the door to pick your breakfast black caps! Be AWARE though that winter rentals u will need to leave bedroom door open so that the heat from heater downstairs come in. Bringing in electrical heaters is not allowed. Guest access Guests can use the living room. Kitchen privileges aren't included in our listing, but if u need kitchen priviledges, let us know and we can set up a small extra services fee. During your stay We may or may not get a chance to personally meet, but I'm always a text message away. If you need an immediate response, call! On very rare occasions I am unable to answer immediately. Best way to contact me is by texting through the app. If you need me quickly, please call, but always text first. I usually answer very quickly but on occasion I may not be able to respond. Customer service after 9pm is not guaranteed if you are using self-check in after 9pm, you may not be able to contact me. Guests checking in after 9pm and before 7AM accept that risk. If guests call between those hours and speak with the host, they accept a $25 extra service fee for late night check assistance. Other things to note Our goal is to create a Jungendherberge style capital area crossroads! Our low prices are based on limited upkeep and self service style housing. Use of the Kitchen is $6. Laundry is $5 and garbage is $5. Please be sure to take your garbage with you or leave $5 for the extra work of carry out your bag. Free recycling is available however please strictly follow posted instructions. Leaving garbage with recyclables in it incurs a $20/hr cleaning fee, minimum 1 hr. Please note that we do not accept third party reservations. Your room has two single beds. If you rent the room for 1 person and both beds are used, you will be subject to the additional guest fee of $7.
