Enjoy a private oasis on one of the best streets in Charlottesville. Our single family house dates from 1890 and was completely renovated into a modern comfortable house including: high quality HVAC, sound proofing throughout the house and multiple nooks for resting & reading. It's a wonderful place for a family to stay while enjoying Charlottesville. Enjoy walking everywhere you might want to go in town including the UVA Campus, Health System, Downtown Mall & Main Street. The space Custom renovation of a 1890's house on a quiet one way street. Our features a large custom kitchen complete with induction stove, high capacity oven and is fully stocked and ready for use. An open living/dining room space connects directly to the outdoor space with a screened in porch for dining or lounging. Quarter acre backyard with room for romping. The upstairs features three large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Second floor porch off of the master bedroom completes the indoor/outdoor theme and is where you will find our brand new cedar sauna! The front room upstairs has a bunkbed with Full bed below and Twin bed above. The middle room has a bunkbed with two twins but the upper mattress is quite thin. We have multiple spare mattresses/high quality car camping pads that are available to create different sleeping options. The master bedroom has a California King bed and is very spacious. The couches in the living room are another sleeping option as are the mattresses in the attic, appropriate for teenager or older. Guest access All spaces accessible except for our shed. We have also locked our office door downstairs as a means of personal storage. While the attic is not locked it is only used as a child's play space and storage and the stairway/ladder is steep, please use caution and don't leave small children unattended. For older kids its a great play space with legos & books. Other things to note Our driveway is available for our guests but it is a bit steep so please use caution while parking. It is possible to get two cars in the driveway with care and we have parking passes for further guests to park on the street which has restrictions during the work week.
