Our Retreat -in a peaceful setting.

Private- apartment in the lower level of our house. House in a rural setting- you may spot white tail deer or other wildlife.Enjoy the peaceful tranquil setting.We are within 5 minutes by car to Rte 70 and shopping centers. Our space isn't childproof. Workout equipment available for use at your own risk. We control the HVAC and will adjust as requested. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the walk to the entrance. Non smoking. We aren't set up for heavy cooking. No stove. The space We have one bedroom with 2 full size beds. You have use of the patio outside of the unit which has a hot tub,pool table and seating area.The patio is a shared space. If we are on the patio feel free to join us. Over 1800 sq. ft of space.The bedroom has two beds a closet and dresser. Kitchenette with full size fridge,Keurig , microwave, griddle and hot plate.Bath w/ shower. Streaming devices on TV's that you may log into your accounts and Samsung TV channels on the big screen. A car is needed to fully enjoy the area. We provide coffee and snacks. We don't have a stove in the unit. Guest access Guest has access to the entire basement with the exception of the locked utility rooms. Only guests that are listed on the reservation may be on the property. We appreciate guest being over the age of 25. Other things to note We don’t allow parties or gatherings on the property. We require the names and contact information of all guests over 18 within 24 hours of confirmed reservation. This is important should an emergency arise we are able to account for all. I can not guarantee the use of the internet and wifi as things happen that are beyond my control. ( power outage, internet and cable services down, natural disaster, etc.) We have a toy poodle named S'more a medical service dog. Out of concern for health and safety we don't allow additional dogs on site. We have cameras on the exterior of the property with voice recoding. 1 in the driveway. 2 one is on the pathway to the apartment. 3. is on the side of our house. 4. lastly, at the front door of our house, which guests don't use or access. Please advise during the booking process if you plan on bringing more than one car. We have space for 2 max but need to make room for the second one if we can't do this we will let you know before you proceed to book. We are a non smoking unit. should a guest smoke in the unit, we charge an additional $250 cleaning plus the cost of any damages that may have occurred from smoking . We are on a septic system. Nothing other than toilet tissue we provide may be flushed into our system. No wipes( including those that say flushable), feminine hygiene products, papertowels, etc. Should a clog to the system occur, and the guest is found to have flushed something causing the backup. Guest will pay $250 and the actual amount of the plumbing bill plus any actual damages. The electrical panel is located in a locked closet in this unit, which services the house. We may, with notice, need to enter the unit to flip a breaker or in an emergency situation. All reasonable efforts will be made to alert the guest should this need arise during your stay. We don't allow smoking anywhere. We don’t allow visitors to guest on the property without prior approval.
