Cabin in Oakhurst

20 mins to Yosemite. We offer a historical cabin built in the early 1900's. A Unique Rustic Retreat perfect for a real mountain getaway. Equipped with a full kitchen, a cozy dining nook & an open living space with a real wood burning stove. 55" TV, Firestick, VCR, DVD's, WiFI & a small selection of books. Lets not forget the hot tub, perfect after a day of adventure! We are within walking distance to Lewis Creek and the famous Red Rock Falls. The space We offer 2 Queen beds, 1 newly renovated bathroom with a very spacious living room. The large deck outside offers a beautiful view of the many Pine, Cedar, Oak and Dogwood trees with several seating options including a swing. Perfect for outdoor dining and grilling or a relaxing spa. Guest access Checkin and checkout times are STRICTLY enforced to allow proper COVID cleaning compliance. Please no early arrivals. There may be additional fees incurred for late departures. Guests need to be aware that this entire area is vulnerable to wild fires. OUTDOOR FIRES OF ANY KIND ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. NO EXCEPTIONS! WARNING - during snowstorms our parking is not maintained on a schedule. You may have to park 1/2 mile away and walk your belongings in or out. Snow shoveling may be necessary to access the cabin. Shovel provided. You must have an SUV with clearance, all wheel drive, or a 4x4 with snowchains. 2 wheel drive vehicles are required to have snow chains. We are not responsible for your vehicle if you get snowed in or out. Refunds are not given due to inclement weather. Travel insurance recommended during the winter months from Nov - March. Other things to note Please drive with caution! ~~~NOTE - Cellular service is very spotty in the Sugarpine community, please make sure you have driving directions written down prior to leaving Oakhurst. Our neighbors are very friendly if you find yourself in any sort of trouble. ~~~CAUTION - If you are booking during the winter months you will need to have a 4 wheel drive or an all wheel drive vehicle with ground clearance if you want to park at the cabin. There is no snow removal or road maintenance for Brammer and Poplar roads. Please view the winter picture of the cabin for an idea of what this road may look like during extreme weather. Winter parking is available at the community center which is approx. 50 yards from Della's cabin. You should also have weather appropriate footwear!
