Full Floor of Living Space, Close to NIU Queen Bed

Enjoy an ENTIRE FLOOR of space in Heatherstone, in our guest room, located in our basement (shared entry) Queen size bed, living room w/ futon, 2 TVs, WiFi, treadmill (please share), elliptical, captains chair. Separate work/eating space with table, chairs, mini-fridge, and microwave. Private full bath. Space for 2 adults in Q bed and 1 adult on futon. Kids welcome. Walking distance to DeKalb HS, bike trail. Northern Illinois University 1.7 miles away, shopping 5 min drive. New Hot Tub! The space You'll enter our corner lot home through the vibrant yellow front door, take a quick right then left jog and you'll find yourself at the door to the basement. From here on, the space is private and all yours. (We do ask that you allow us to use the treadmill occasionally and at times that work for your schedule.) You enter the private corridor that guides you down to a cheerful bright space full of both natural and artificial light. Natural plants and full-size windows bring the space to life (for longer stays plants are removed to keep them alive). At the bottom of the staircase, you find the full private bath to your left and a table and chairs to your right. Turn to your right and go down the hall to your living room/gym. Continue through the living room to your lovely guest room. Two storage spaces exist as well, which are not intended for guests, but you're welcome to look into them to feel more at ease in the space. You are welcome to use the shared hot tub, please allow us to instruct you on basic use the first time you use it, afterward you may feel free to use as you like. This is a new amenity so we may need to update instructions over time. Guest access Guest access is through the shared front door of the home. You are very welcome to share the use of the first-floor kitchen/fridge if needed. There is a minifridge and microwave in the basement for your use. There is also a deep freezer in the garage where you're welcome to store frozen food. The first-floor kitchen is adjacent to the basement door, and readily accessible although this floor is a full-time residence for a family. During your stay Typically we will be available to offer anything you need during your stay. Other things to note You will receive keys to both the front door and the basement space. The landlord may need to enter the space to access storage or the furnace/ AC system on occasion.
