Cascades Woodland Retreat

Enjoy your own private mountain garden, with only birds to break your total seclusion ... yet groceries are just a ten-minute walk away! Welcome to “Dayspring”, our precious home! The trees and trails on our 20-acre wooded property beckon you to discover fun spaces to enjoy memorable moments and emotions. A small house, a pavilion with a complete camping kitchen, a fire pit, and a mountain spring pool are all part of the magic here. The space The inside space is a beautifully crafted mountain cabin with a loft bedroom (queen-size bed), a standing desk, and board games on the shelves. The outside area is acres of forest and streams, at the center of which stands a pavilion (near the cabin) with a fully stocked camping kitchen and a large stone fire pit. This cabin sits alongside our larger home. NEW: During the summer, the popular "glamping" tent, complete with a queen bed, nightstand, and power, is open as an additional bedroom. We also have a bunk tent with 4 bunk beds and an outdoor shower/pit toilet/sink facility that is great for hikers and backpackers. The cost is $50 per bed. For this option, we will provide breakfast, too! Please watch the weather and message us to find out the road conditions. Highway 20, which goes to the North Cascades, may be closed, so check with the Washington Dept. of Transportation website for updates. Note: We live in a larger house in view of the cabin.
