Welcome to our little escape from the city. About a mile outside Roscoe, NY, this contemporary farmhouse is situated on three quiet acres with no neighbors. The house is filled with sun-drenched spaces and high-end furnishings for your group to relax in the Catskills. Property is on a lightly-trafficked two-lane road, across which is a lovely creek. If you open the windows at night, you're likely to hear the roaring water. The space Amenities: Four bathrooms (two bathtubs!), three fireplaces, radiant heating, Sonos speakers throughout the house, and a basement lounge with Peloton bike, Xbox 360, Apple TV, and a few board games. Outdoor spaces: Front porch with outdoor sofa and chairs, facing the road and creek. Stone patio with lounge chairs, BBQ, and outdoor dining area. Guest access Entire house, with the exception of my office, workroom, and photographic darkroom. Other things to note COVID notes: We don't rent the place often, preferring small groups and longer stays. When we stay here, it's for weeks at a time (i.e. we're not back and forth to the city). Feel free to message us with any questions or special arrangement requests. To answer some FAQs: -If you’re visiting us in winter, note that the driveway is short but is at an incline from the road. You may want four-wheel drive if you’re not comfortable with upstate winter driving. There is also room for 1-2 cars in front of our garage building down the road, which is flat. The driveway and garage are plowed after major snowfall. -The wifi is strong. You can easily Zoom, stream, have multiple people sharing the connection. Measured at 210 mpbs down / 12 mbps up. -We do have a BBQ grill. It's a standard size Webber charcoal grill. -Coffee is a french press, and we'll have fresh beans from Oslo in Brooklyn. -The house does not have A/C. Temperatures are generally cooler in the Catskills than the city. Nights are brisk, and we're able to keep the house cool by opening windows at night and leaving them closed during the day. There are Vortex fans in the bedrooms.
