The Sisterdale Cabin: A Guadalupe River Retreat

A hop away from hill country favorites like Boerne, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, Blanco, & Comfort, the Sisterdale Cabin is a Lake/Flato designed escape set on 70 acres. Situated on almost a mile of private riverfront, the cabin was featured in Garden & Gun magazine, & provides a peaceful natural escape in the Texas Hill Country. Kayak or tube without crowds, fish, search for arrowheads, enjoy local eats, listen to tunes in Luckenback, watch the huge herd of Axis deer, and stargaze. The space The space is beautifully designed and connects directly to the natural environment. While the two bedrooms are air-conditioned, the rest of the space is screened-in. The cabin is intentionally minimalistic. The vast front porch serves as the living and dining room. This is an ideal space for people who appreciate nature and value good design. Other things to note Kayaks, paddles, and float tubes are provided with the cabin. There is no dishwasher. There is not a traditional living room. The full sized fridge is outside, and there is a mini-fridge inside. There is no wifi or television. We are extremely dedicated to cleanliness, but the screened in spaces are screened in spaces. You will, inevitably, find dust. Please note that the Texas Hill Country has scorpions. We advise that guests keep something on their feet when walking around, even inside. **The upstairs loft area with 4 comfortable camp cots is screened it. This sleeping area is like camping, in terms of temperature. It will be cold when it is cold, and hot when it's hot.
