Haven Valley Homestead Guest Cabin

Located in the heart of Penn's Valley is our beautiful, peaceful guest cabin, settled in amish country just 2 miles from Penns Creek and less then 10 minutes from Penns Cave! Enjoy relaxing on the porch or by the campfire! We are located just 25 min from PSU and State College PA. You can enjoy access to Penns Creek which offers amazing fishing and also the quaint town of Milheim PA with local foods like Elk Creek Café!. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids). **No Pets allowed. The space The guest cabin is located on our Farmette which includes horses, ponies, goats and chickens! Farm and horse experience options for children! The cabin is an open space with a full bed and bunk beds! The couch also has a hideaway bed! Guest access We offer different activities for children and families! Horse Ride - lead in our arena - $10 for a 5 minute "lead" horse ride Horse Experience Hands On Class - 30 min. experience for children. This includes hands on learning about horses and riding. The child will assist in grooming, saddling and will also be able to ride. They will also receive a goodie bag! $30 per child Chore Time Family Experience - Join us for a 40 min. hands on experience during one of our two daily chore times! Your family will have the fun opportunity to assist in feeding all the animals, gathering eggs and even watching a milking demo with our dairy goats! $50 - per family ( up to 4 people) - $5 per additional child Visit our on sight Farm Stand/Store!! Fresh produce, farm fresh eggs, pasture raised meats and local products available!! Group Hay Wagon Rides **All experiences only available if our scheduling allows during your stay!
