Bunkhouse: Appaloosa Hideaway
Description
The Bunkhouse's Appaloosa Hideaway is nestled on a beautiful wooded hill overlooking the great Columbia River. We have stocked this loft-style getaway with many of the comforts of home, including a kitchenette, a dining area, and two full bathrooms. Guests should note the layout is open and studio-like with no bedrooms. All beds are bunk beds and two of the bunks have a double bed on the bottom. The space Quiet and serene mountainous retreat in the heart of woodland territory with ample opportunities to see wildlife, including white tail and black tail, black bear and grizzly bear, foxes, forest song and migratory birds of all kinds, including some endangered species. We also species like mink, ermine and badgers, and if you get really lucky, maybe even some moose, elk or wolves. Guest access There is a one mile dirt road loop that surrounds the property which is accessible by both foot and vehicle traffic. This listing has its own private parking spot and driveway. Please note that the driveway and parking must be shared with guests who are renting the other bunkhouse apartment. Behind the Bunkhouse is a shared outdoor space for Appaloosa & Grulla with a fire pit, BBQ, table and chairs. Other things to note CELL SERVICE: Sometimes folks get very connected to their devices. During the drive up to the farm, you'll notice the cell service disappears shortly after you make your turn off the main road onto the gravel. This drive is six miles of beautiful mountain terrain, but your cell service will disappear. Never fear! Once you get to the farm, we have cell phone boosters positioned at many locations all throughout our farm to make sure you can stay connected to what is important to you.
