The Distillery House is a historic c. 1898 Kentucky farm house in the heart of downtown. Incredibly rebuilt in 2019 from the ground up with a modern touch. Amazing amenities like no other stay in town: Fully stocked bourbon bar mixers to make your own craft cocktails! (no alcohol) Real bourbon still to learn the bourbon making process! The space View video tour: https://vimeo.com/665241634 Built in 1898 on a farm in Woodford County, The Distillery House was pulled into Lexington in 1907 by wagon hitched to 20 mules. Condemned by the city in 2018, I purchased and rebuilt the entire house back to its original glory with a twist of modern touches. The historic home which was completely remodeled by myself features reclaimed antique lumber, bourbon barrel crafted furnishings, reclaimed fencing from a local horse farm, custom mural by a local artists, original photo artwork by a local famous photographer (for sale), amazing back yard and seating area to enjoy your drinks by the private fire pit and hot tub year round! Guest access Guests have the entire house , private hot tub, patio and yard space for your enjoyment. The back yard has a separate cottage (The Bourbon House) at the very back, which I (or other guests) may be staying. These guests have there own private yard, patio and hot tub area as well, separated by green space. Common access from the street is down the side of property via a walkway and does pass by the Distillery House’s back space, as it’s a shared walkway. Other things to note This is an older historic home, completely remodeled in 2019, but still contains uneven steps and narrow stair case to the one upstairs bedroom.
