Feet The space The two bedroom/one bathroom “Kaleido House” is the largest unit in the Zilker Vacations family. It features by far the most original art and colorful decor to go along with the spacious tall ceilings. The Kaleido House is located just .44 miles to Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool, the perfect location to enjoy everything that Austin has to offer. There is easy walking access to many of Austin’s famous restaurants as well as the outdoor paradise that is Zilker Park. Take a dip in the 68 degree waters of Barton Springs after enjoying a hike through the Barton Creek Greenbelt or a stroll around Lady Bird Lake. After a day outdoors, you’re only a short way back! The vaulted beamed knotty pine wood ceilings make the over 1000 square feet seem even bigger. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle cooking big meals, and the Whole Foods world headquarters and Trader Joe's is approx 2 miles away. Several smaller convenience stores are blocks away. There is a king bed with Temperpedic mattress in the master bedroom and two XL twins in the second bedroom, which can be made up as a king upon request. Other amenities include: fresh coffee (organic local Ruta Maya) and tea fixings, washer/dryer and detergent, bath and beach towels, and a Britta water filter to keep fresh water in the refrigerator. There is a gas grill on the deck and tools and grate covers in the kitchen. Guest access You are renting the entire space - this is NOT a shared rental, though it is a duplex with a shared wall, so we expect that there won't be loud noise after 10:30 that could disturb your neighbor. Other things to note We have contactless check-in with keyless deadbolt. All of our properties are fully stocked with linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap and lotion as well as basic kitchen items (spices, oil, etc) and organic coffee beans, grinder, filters and drip coffee maker. CLEANING FEE: There is a $115 cleaning fee for shorter stays and $200 for 30+ stays. If you are booking a monthly stay, we will add the extra as an additional request. PET FEE: Please note that if you plan on bringing a pet we do charge a $50 pet fee for shorter stays and $100 for monthly stays. If you choose to instant book, we will add the fee as an additional request. We expect that pets will be kept off the furniture and kept in a crate or behind a gate in the kitchen when you leave them in the condo. Crates, gates and/or couch covers are available upon request. HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX: AIRBNB will collect the State & City tax of 17% and pass it on to us to remit. Stays of 30+ days or active military on official business with a certificate are exempt. NOISE CURFEW: The City of Austin enforces a 10:30 PM noise curfew that we must abide by. We take this very seriously out of respect for our other guests and neighbors. If we receive a complaint, we will address the issue with the primary renter, and a second complaint may be met with an immediate eviction without refund. SMOKING: We only allow smoking or vaping outside using the ashtray provided. Please don't throw butts on the ground.
