A "Home Away From Home," Serenity Suite at Oak Mountain offers sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of travel and everyday life! Perched on the summit of Oak Mountain and overlooking Carrollton, GA, Serenity Suite is a private spacious apartment located on the lower level of our family home on more than an acre of land with lovely gardens and a spectacular view. The large living room features comfortable seating and has TV with Dish Network. Access to the deck and hot tub is via stairs right outside the door. A dining area seats 8 and features a chestnut table and antique chairs. Adjacent to the living room is a full kitchen (including dishwasher). The bath has tub/shower and is conveniently located just outside the two bedrooms. Serenity Suite is a self-contained living area with bedrooms, full bath, full kitchen and large living room/dining area with its own private entrance. Guests can come and go as they wish, and the apartment space is well insulated from our living space on the upper level of the house. Guests will have complete privacy indoors, and we do not use "shared spaces" when guests are present. We honor the privacy of our guests and do not need to meet them during their stay. However, we are usually on the property or in town and are happy for them to introduce themselves or let us know if they need anything while here. We are just 10 minutes away from the historic Carrollton Square, Tanner Medical Center, Southwire, Banning Mills Resort, The University of West Georgia, and West Georgia Technical College. Oak Mountain Golf is open to the public and just a couple minutes drive. West Point lake is 45 minutes south. For guests with children we have an optional third bedroom - the "BUNK ROOM" available for an extra $40 per night. The Bunk Room is between the two featured bedrooms and part of the same completely private Serenity Suite space. The Bunk Room has two sets of stylish bunk beds with gel-foam mattresses and quality sheets and comforters. Guests who are interested in this additional space can send an inquiry and we will respond with a special offer that includes the additional $40 per night fee.
