Stratton Mountain House is a family friendly ski cabin within 8-10 minute walk of Stratton Lodge & Stratton Village. Spacious family area with plenty of natural light, plus a cozy nook and wood burning fireplace for down time. Sleeps 9+ including a kid-favorite bunk room. Tucked just outside the hustle of Stratton Village, our house is on a serene side road and overlooks a babbling brook on a large wooded lot. Grill or cook at home, or stroll into the Village for a night out! The space Location, Location, Location! SMH is a short walk to Stratton Ski Lodge or restaurants and bars in Stratton Village. The historic and scenic Stratton Mountain Golf course is less than 1.5 miles from our house. Or, if you are just looking to get away and relax, the wide open family room is flooded with natural light perfect for a friendly get-together. There's a lovely wooden deck over looking a nicely wooded lot for spring, summer or fall foliage enjoyment. Guest access There is a lock box to left of the inner front door. Other things to note Please note that we provide blankets and pillows at SMH, but you will need to bring sheets and towels. There are three single beds, one queen bed and two sets of bunk beds. Smoking and pets are not permitted in the house. The bulletin board in the kitchen provides you with information on the house and emergency numbers. Trash is collected on Mondays and will not be picked up unless all of it is bagged. Please bag all trash and place in the can on the porch. The house has a full kitchen with microwave, oven, stove, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, crock pot, dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, etc. There's a picture of the kitchen on the site that might help. All the cabinets are full. There is also a charcoal grill for BBQ. The foyer cabinet has folders for restaurants, hiking trails, local maps,shopping, golf and other activities around Vermont. There are also a dozen puzzles and a handful of board games (monopoly, scrabble, rummikub, backgammon, chess, boggle) and a few decks of cards. Enjoy! -Dave
