Unwind by the Lake - Peaceful Rustic Cabin Getaway
Description
This time of year, sunlight spills in the cabin a little longer each day warming the space in that quiet, natural way. Time just seems to stretch wider. It’s not fancy and that's exactly the point. It just feels good to be here. Peaceful water views, a place full of character, and room for 6–8. Tucked away in the trees in a private lake community...Simple, laid-back, and perfect for a 3+ night stay. *A few last-minute 2–3 night stays just opened up—reach out if you’d like to sneak away ;) The space Our destination is a true lakefront cabin in the Pocono Mountains—cozy, comfortable, and full of character. We have a wood stove and a relaxed, lived-in feel. If you’re expecting the Ritz-Carlton, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a warm, authentic place to unwind and unplug, you’re in the right spot. We’re proudly pet-friendly and people-friendly—our cabin is meant to be used and enjoyed. The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and appliances, including an oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Gather around the kitchen island while overlooking the lake. High-speed Wi-Fi and a 42" wall-mounted HDTV are included. The TV has local channels via antenna and multiple HDMI inputs for streaming Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, or your own device. Guest access * Summer Guests* Enjoy the Lake!!! and much more. It's a private lake with no power motor boats. The lake is very shallow in front of our property which makes for a great beach area. Bring a beach chair for pure enjoyment of putting the chair in the water and getting your feet wet! The shallow water also is great for kids and beach toys. The water does gradually get deeper if you walk out 50 yards or more. A favorite pastime is getting the inflatables out and floating around with an ice cold drink of your choice. Feel free to use our inflatables (or bring your own), kayaks (4), rowboat, or canoe. Other things to note ***If you end up using a lot of firewood and feel like leaving a tip, we truly appreciate it—but it’s never expected.
