Feathered Nest sits tucked away on the side of a mountain in a private subdivision. The homes are spaced apart providing a setting of privacy and peacefulness. It feels like you are far away from everything, yet you are so close to the many area amenities and attractions. For convenience, you will find easy access to I-40 and Highway 19-23, by which you will travel to visit the local area attractions. The home is 1 mile from Haywood Regional Hospital. The space Enjoy mountain living in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home nestled on a mountainside in a quiet and private subdivision. Sleeps up to 6, however, please be sure to see description below as the home is equipped with 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed. The 3 rd bedroom doesn’t have a bed, but can have an air mattress if desired. All utilities and yard maintenance are included. The home is set up as follows: Main floor includes: A fully stocked kitchen that is open to the living room and dining room, a laundry closet with a washer and dryer, one bedroom and bathroom. This bedroom has a queen sized bed. The sofa in the living room is a sleeper sofa in case additional sleeping arrangements are needed. Access the deck from the living room and you will be surrounded by many trees and nature. There is a gas fire pit table on the deck with chairs. Upstairs level: 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed. The other bedroom is furnished with a desk and chair, making it a nice bonus room to work in. If needed, there is a queen sized air mattress that can be used in this bonus room. The basement and garage are locked and not accessible. This is a great location with easy access to many different towns and areas. Be in charming downtown Waynesville within 10 minutes, Maggie Valley is 15 minutes away. I 40 is less than 2 miles away, so one can be in Asheville within 20-30 minutes depending on location. Haywood Regional Hospital and fitness center are within 1 mile. Beautiful Lake Junaluska is 3 miles away. Haywood Community College is 1 mile. Staying at Feathered Nest is comfortable and you will feel tucked away, yet close to everything. Guest access You will enter the home through the front door entering directly into the kitchen, dining and living areas. Keypad lock is on the front door. You will be given a code. Other things to note Pets: we are pet friendly and will accommodate a one dog under 25 lbs. Prior approval is required as there are some breed restrictions. Please send a quick message giving the breed of dog, weight and age. There is a non refundable pet fee of 100.00 per pet. The driveway is very steep and slopes downward to the main entrance of the home. It can be a bit intimidating at first, however, a few times up and down the driveway and one gets more comfortable with it.
