Dockhouse at Lake Rivendell

The "Dockhouse” at Lake Rivendell is a unique getaway for an individual or a couple to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature in a rural country setting. Taking walks, bird watching, fishing, paddle boarding/kayaking, ziplining, swimming, laying on the beach in season, enjoying s'mores around a fire on the beach, or just setting on the porch over the lake enjoying your favorite drink and the beauty of the lake, mountains and country surroundings. The space This space is built partially over the water, surrounded with a lot of enjoyable amenities. It is titled "Dockhouse”, but it is more like a cozy "Bedroom on the Dock". It essentially is a decent size (12’ X 15’) bedroom with sitting space, a small (electric) fireplace, TV and Kitchenette. It does not have cooking facilities as such other than a coffee maker, toaster, microwave and an outside BBQ. It does include a very nice bathroom with a large 5 foot shower. It does have a very nice sitting deck that overlooks the lake and has a view of the mountains in the distance. “Instant booking” is not allowed during the summer months, because we need to talk with potential guests to make sure they would be OK with the extra lake activity that happens in the summer time with our family and guests from our other units at Lake Rivendell. The upper deck of this dockhouse is also the zip line launch and in the summertime kids jumping off and splashing into the lake. Therefore if this would be annoying to you then please don’t book the dockhouse in the summer time. It is available in the fall winter and spring when the lake activity is almost negligible and it is a very quiet peaceful cozy little place during those months. Guest access The Dockhouse , (bedroom and bathroom), is private use for you, however the surrounding amenities including the upper deck of the dockhouse, are shared access with other guests.
