With stunning panoramic views from the famous Torridon mountain range across Loch Ewe, 'Mountain Ash View' is one of our two snug pods (see also 'Stormy Bay View'). Full of mod cons and comfy furnishings, with the added luxury of underfloor heating. We are located in the crofting community of Mellon Charles, just 4 miles from the epic NC500 route. With beaches and coastal walks nearby, enjoy the tranquility of 'Mountain Ash View' as a base to explore our bonnie area. The space A cosy nook with comfy double bed and double sofabed, providing accommodation for up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Please note that the pod is a compact space, best suited to 2 people sharing. We provide luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding to help aid a restful night's sleep and Egyptian cotton, sumptuous towels for added comfort. If you would like to use the sofabed, please let us know at the time of booking. There is a well-equipped kitchenette, dining area, ensuite with shower and large L-shaped sofa to chill out on. After a busy day you can watch Netflix and a variety of other apps already set up on our smart TV, or the double glass doors provide the perfect frame to admire our stunning views overlooking Loch Ewe. **Please note that when 2 people are sharing and request use of the sofabed, there will be an additional charge of £10 to cover additional laundry costs. This will be requested through airbnb at the end of your stay.** Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the pod, carparking and grassy area, complete with table, seating and fire pit/bbq. Other things to note We live in a remote area with the nearest village 4 miles away. We provide a few essentials where food is concerned (milk, eggs, tea, coffee, breakfast cereal/porridge). Please note that our local village shop opening times are 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday. The nearest options for eating out are the Aultbea Hotel (4 miles from pod, Wed-Sun) and Ocean View Hotel in Laide (6 miles from pod, Mon-Fri) both establishments are open seasonally.
