The Treharne Trailhead Relaxing Studio

Welcome to rural Vernonia, Oregon located in the foothills of the Pacific Northwest Coast Range. The Treharne Trailhead is a great open concept second story studio to stop at for the night or spend a few days exploring. Close to popular attractions. -on the Banks-Vernonia Linear Trail -5 minutes to Vernonia -5 minutes to the Vernonia Airfield -5 minutes to the Vernonia Golf Club -10 minutes to Stub Stewart State Park -1 hour to Seaside (approx) -1 hour to PDX (approx) The space This newly updated 700 sq ft private, open concept studio is overlooking the pasture and coast range sunset. **(Please take note before booking**you walk by the main house back porch, into the garage, and up a full 16 step staircase) We have lots of room to park vehicles in the gravel parking area and park bikes and charge e-bikes in the garage. I ask for notice of anything more than one standard vehicle. Cyclists (The Treharne Trailhead is not a location on the trail map. We named our place because of the original owners of the homestead and our convenient location for bikers direct access to the Banks- Vernonia linear trail) Conveniently and safely park your vehicle on the property and cross the road to the trail. It’s a two mile trip to Vernonia or 19 miles to Banks. *If you’re in town before checkin you can park your vehicle here and start your adventure early. The Airbnb compatible smart lock simplifies the checkin and checkout process. Also, we added an interior high security lock like hotels have. One full size bed and one twin bed are in a common area along with a sofa, reclining chair, and 43” Roku TV. The open concept living space has a picture window overlooking the pasture and evening sunset. (The studio is comfortable for 2 adults but can accommodate an additional two children age 12 and younger, with an extra camp mat and sleeping bag. Extra guest fees apply). The small bathroom has a toilet and shower stall with a drying line, plush towels, hair dryer, and complimentary toiletries in case you forgot something. There is no sink in the bathroom. Using the kitchen sink right next to the bathroom is the option at our studio. The small kitchenette is equipped with enough to store and reheat snacks and take-out. It is NOT set up for meal prep and cooking. It has •a sink •small fridge/freezer with a Brita water pitcher •microwave, •Keurig and pods, •drip coffee maker-bring your own coffee •creamer pods •wine glasses and keys, •paper products. In the fall you can view the salmon spawning from the bridge as well as stargazing, wildlife, elk, deer, birdwatching, etc. Other things to note -Amazon or other delivery welcome.
