The space UPSTAIRS: - Open living/dining area with a large dining table (expandable up to 10), rocking chair, sofa, two arm-chairs, video streaming (Netflix, Prime Video, etc.), DVD player, stereo system, and wood-fired stove. - Deck with gorgeous views of the mountains. NOTE: No smoking or open flame (e.g. charcoal grill) on deck (or anywhere else in the condo complex). - Fully-stocked kitchen (dishes, silverware, pots, pans, etc.) with oven range, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and full-size refrigerator. - Master bedroom with two twin beds, large dresser, and big closet. - Full bathroom with bath/shower. DOWNSTAIRS: - Family bedroom with king bed, two twin beds (bunk), chest of drawers, and large closet. There is an extra futon in this closet. - Twin bedroom with two twin beds, chest of drawers, and closet. - Laundry room with washer/dryer, cleaning supplies, paper goods, and extra towels and sheets. - Full bathroom with shower. Guest access • Park one car in reserved spot in front. Park additional car in un-numbered spaces (please avoid bringing more than 2 cars total if possible). • Walk to sled hill (+/- 100 yards). • Walk (12 - 14 min) or drive (1 min) to ski area base (Alpine Meadows). • Drive to Squaw Valley or Lake Tahoe (Tahoe City) -- each about 6 miles -- or beyond... Other things to note • All hosts in Placer County are required by law to charge Transient Occupancy Tax (hotel tax) on Short-term Rentals (this money goes to the county, not to us; see www [dot] placer [dot] ca [dot] gov/1463/TOT-Tax-Rate). Details on collection of the tax will be provided before your reservation is finalized. • Late checkout: Ask us! Depending on turnaround time for the next guest, we may be able to allow you to check out later (e.g. after skiing). • There is NO SMOKING anywhere, indoors or out, in the entire condominium complex where this unit is located, including on the deck or in parking areas. • Open flame of any kind, including charcoal grills, are prohibited by local fire district on the deck or elsewhere on the property. • Connection to Internet: Minimum 45Mbps, plenty for working (e.g. Zoom calls) and video streaming (Netflix, Amazon, etc.). • Mobile reception: Verizon reception is good. Not sure about others. • Please don't leave food or coolers (even empty) in your car. We are at the edge of the forest, and there are occasional reports of bears nearby. • Cups, glasses, cans, and bottles leave rings on our teak furniture. Please use coasters for all drinks.
