It is one block off Main Street Clayton, close to the shops, restaurants & pubs. A great place to stay to enjoy the amenities of Rabun County. The space Owned by a retired State Judge who lives in the main house & is usually nearby to assist/ but only when approached to do so. Owner and wife value our guest's privacy. Clayton Georgia is a mountain town in far NE GA at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains, about 8 miles from NC & 8 miles from SC. Hollywood likes to come and create movies here, including Disney and Ron Howard, because of the county's unique beauty. We have three large lakes and a National Forest filled with waterfalls and trails... only 10 miles from the Appalachian trial. Its a hiker's paradise! A nine hole public course operated by Rabun County along with King wood Club and Sky Valley Club. The Rabun County Historical Society has a museum open the public on select days. It will feature artifacts from the railroad which brought guest to the Tallullah Falls, Black Rock Mountain, Highlands and Franklin NC.
