This charming newly renovated 2300 sqft-4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom lakefront family cottage is located on Lake Muskoka. The space Just 1.5 hours north of Toronto, easily reachable via the 400 highway. It is only 10 minutes from Gravenhurst town center. The cottage is situated with in a quiet bay set back from open water and offers shelter from larger waves and boat traffic, ideal for water sports, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, etc. The Segwun Steam Ship passes through this area. The dock offers north east exposure. The water front offers an excellent swimming area with full shallow water access which is safe and convenient for young children. The water is deep enough off the boathouse dock to accommodate motor boats and sea-coos. The large boathouse sun deck and dock on the water are ideal for coffee at dawn, sunbathing mid-day and cocktails at sunset. This property is very clean with comfortable and sleeps 8 people. The main floor is complete with slate tile throughout the family room with a center wood burning fireplace which opens to the galley kitchen. Please note a water cooler is provided as the tap water is not potable. Off the kitchen is a spacious dining room that seats 6-8 comfortably. There are two carpeted bedrooms on this level, one with a queen size bed and the other with a and twin bed- each in separate areas with their own bathrooms (one is a full, the other a two piece). Sliding doors from the dining room lead you to a large outdoor lakefront deck with a BBQ and lovely new outdoor patio and lounge furniture great for entertaining. The second floor is a new addition and one can see the fabulous views of Lake Muskoka through its floor to ceiling windows. The stunning wood paneled cathedral ceiling along with hardwood flooring in main area, gives the cottage a rustic clean feel. There are also two ceiling fans in the main sitting area, allowing you and your guests to cool down on a hot day. The two upstairs bedrooms are both carpeted and also have ceiling fans. The front bedroom with the stunning lakefront views as well has a fully paneled cathedral ceiling, adding charm to the space. The bathroom is a modern 3 piece. Pleas note pillow inserts and duvet inserts for all beds are supplied, however please bring your own towels and bed sheets / linens. As well the kitchen has lots of utensils, plates, cups, pans, tea kettle, sandwich maker, toaster, and drip coffee. Regarding any food, please bring your own items. You will have the run of the property. Included with the cottage is the use of a canoe, rafts, water noodles and board games. Guests will have access to outdoor furniture.
