Ride our (free) bikes for a quick trip to Coligny Plaza where the quaint local shops and restaurants are. The beach is a quick 3 minute walk and the pool is just down the hall. Our condo is small, but perfect for a couple's getaway or a memorable trip with the kids. We have everything you need to help make yourselves at home with full size kitchen appliances and washer/dryer room just next door. Our charming oceanside villa is located on South Forest Beach Drive, the center of where it's at on Hilton Head Island. Sea Side villas are on the beach and just about a 10 minute walk from Coligny Plaza and all the shopping, fun, and restaurants a plenty! We have our own beach access walkway and a sun deck just for the Sea Side guests to enjoy. A pool is onsite to cool down after a long day in the salt water or hitting golf balls on one of the nation's best courses. Among the other amenities, there is covered parking, elevators, and a charcoal grilling area. Best of all, this is a family friendly, gated condominium community with secure access. Our ocean villa is ideal for a couple's vacation, but if you want to bring the kids, there are bunks in the hallway area. A neat little hideaway for them that they will truly enjoy. Free, super fast WiFi internet access through Charter Spectrum. Premium Cable TV service on LCD flat screens, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. We've upgraded to a Roku Smart TV in the living room so you can stream your favorite apps (BYOPasswords). We have adult beach cruiser bikes on site, FREE for you to use during your stay. Keep reading for the bike rules and you will see how to get the lock code... Our condo is part of the SeaSide Villas complex on South Forest Beach Drive. You will have the entire condo for your stay with possible neighbors in other units beside and above you. Access to SeaSide Villas is restricted to guests and owners only. Parking is free and you will enter/exit the property with a gate fob provided. Parking is for guests and owners only. Guests from other complexes will have walking access via sidewalk in between buildings 1 and 2. The pool and laundry room is for guests of SeaSide only. The laundry room is directly next door to our unit and the pool is less than a minute walk just down the hall and on ground level. I don't live on the island, but am available by text during normal daytime hours. I pride myself on answering very quickly, but if you text or try to call while I'm working or traveling, there may be a bit of a delay. Please be patient. If your ETA has you arriving late at night, please be sure you have your directions, access instructions, and door code handy as I will most likely be in bed around 8:30pm. Our cleaner does live very close by, so most concerns can usually be taken care of right away. A maintenance crew is on staff during the day, and security is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Sea Side Villas is within a short walk or bike ride to the Coligny area of Hilton Head Island. Coligny is a vibrant neighborhood, known for its pristine beaches. Coligny Plaza, at its heart, offers a mix of shops, restaurants, and entertainment, making it a lively hub for both locals and visitors. The area boasts scenic bike paths, lush parks, and water activities. With a relaxed coastal atmosphere, Coligny embodies the island's laid-back charm, welcoming all to enjoy its sun-soaked shores and abundant amenities. The Hilton Head Airport (HHH) is accessible with flights from 3 major air carriers - American Airlines, Delta and United, each flying the ERJ175 aircraft. There are many bicycle paths on the island and we have FREE bikes for you to use during your stay. There is also a free shuttle service that you can get around the Coligny area with. We have 2 bicycles available for your use for free while you are a guest at our condo. If you need more than 2 bikes, there are many bike rental companies on the island who will deliver them to you. If you plan to use our bikes, we will need for you to agree to the usage terms prior to getting the lock code. The terms should have been sent to you in our rental agreement. If you did not see it, you can request a copy by email or text. Uber, Lyft and taxis and rental cars are available. I try to keep our rates competitive and as low as possible. Notice that there is not a damage deposit? Y'all behave and let's keep it that way. If you would like to use the bicycles, here is the information and rules. Please just read and agree to these rules below..... Bicycle Info: The bicycles are locked to the bike rack at the bottom of the stairs. They are black beach cruisers and can be identified by my logo sticker, “843ByTheSea”, and have my phone number on the sticker as well. While you are a guest at our condo, the bicycles available for you to use at no charge All we ask is that you read the following terms and conditions and send me a message saying you agree: • Because we do not get to check the condition of the bikes in between every guest, we cannot guarantee that everything will be in working order • It will be your responsibility to check the bikes for safety issues – brakes, steering, pedals, tires, etc. • DO NOT ride a bicycle if there is a safety issue. Report it to us immediately! • Safety helmets are not provided. If you feel unsafe riding without a helmet, do not ride the bikes • If a bike has a flat tire or other issue, please let us know and we will arrange for repair. More than likely there is a another one that you can use, but please let us know • You may ride the bikes on the beach if you want, but you must rinse off the salt water and sand prior to parking them. There are beachside showers that can be used for rinsing them • If there is excessive sand on the bike when you arrive, please let us know • When riding the roadside bike trails, you must stay on the bike trails. Never ride in the street • When not riding, you must lock the bikes with the provided bike locks • When parked at the condo, please lock the bike frame to the rack. Do not lock the wheels only or lock them together only • Return the bikes to the rack at the bottom of the stairs where you found them, otherwise the next guest won't be able to find them We will not be held responsible for property damage caused by you while you are using our bicycles.
