Beautiful large studio on the ocean.

Our large, light, 2nd floor studio is airy and modern with a deck overlooking the garden, ocean and sunrise. We love to welcome guests so if you'd like to book please introduce yourselves and let us know who is coming. We are caring, unobtrusive hosts who value getting to know our guests a little beforehand. We think we have the best of both worlds here - the peace and beauty of Casco Bay, yet 5 minutes to the center of town. The space We want to welcome you to what we think is the best view in Portland! Your room is a large, bright studio, private but next to our house, with a fantastic view of the ocean. There is a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, tea kettle and toaster, for your breakfast making and snacks. The bed is a comfy queen. The bathroom is newly renovated with a walk in shower and bench fully tiled. There is a SMART TV with usual apps for you to sign in to and a DVD player with plenty of DVDs. You have your own private deck complete with chairs and table from which you can watch the sunrise each morning. (We are always impressed at the moonrise and the phenomenal light of the moon on the water) The room is warm and comfortable in Winter and during the summer we usually get a lovely sea breeze, although we have now installed a/c. It is a quiet and peaceful space. Guest access Parking is free and easy on the road by the house. There is direct access to the waterfront much of the year, bar the depths of winter, where you can easily put your kayak (or paddle board, etc) in the water and paddle straight out into Casco Bay!
