The space Guests have the tent and surrounding area completely to themselves. There is an outhouse, a substantial deck with comfortable Adirondack chairs and a pond with a fire pit right next to it. The only company you can expect are the wild (and possibly domestic- we have a very curious kitty) animals who live here. Guests should leave the tent just as they came to find it. Any of the dishes that were used can be washed by boiling water from the pond and using the bins for wash and rinse. Dishes do not need to be washed on your final day, just place them in the bins and leave on the deck. We will take care of the rest. Us: We live in the wild because we are a bit wild ourselves. We love the freedom of living in the country and hope you get a piece of that while you’re here too. Our family consists of 2 young active boys, a young active kitty who may visit the tent, a yard of free range bunnies and a papillon. You will probably hear family activity during the day. We welcome you to bring your pet for an additional fee of $50 per night per pet- yes we know this is high. Cleaning a tent after a dog has stayed all weekend is SO much fun! Pets need to be kept on a leash while on the property particularly for the protection of the rabbits. We can easily direct you to miles of walking trails where your dog can be let off leash for a good run. The tent site has ample places to tie your pup off or even set up a run between trees.
