1920 Craftsman home in residential Rock Island. The space is kept minimalistic with lots of natural character. 2 bedroom, full bath, kitchen with stainless appliances, keyless entry, and flat screen TV with Netflix. It's a super simple, clean space, and is fully furnished with everything you could need. 10 minutes to airport, 5 minutes to I-280 and downtown Rock Island/Davenport. There are plenty of great restaurants and 3 local breweries within a few minute drive! The space This is an expanded version of the apartment listing we offered over the last year. We're relocating, and since we've had a lot of happy guests so far, we decided to open up the entire house for others to enjoy! High beamed ceilings, old woodwork, and super comfortable memory foam mattresses! You'll enter through the front porch door and use the keyless entry for the main door. It's a single level home, but there are steps from the street leading up to the porch. There is a large living area with couch and love seat, with Netflix set up with a fire stick remote. There is a sunny 4 season porch with a sitting chair, which could be used as an extra bedroom for extra guests with an air mattress. You'll have a desk with a comfortable office chair if you need to get some work done, and a nice dining area with a built-in buffet. There is a Keurig coffeemaker and a French press. You are welcome to use anything left from previous stays, such as coffee and sugar/spices. We start you off with a few general supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels, but longer-term guests will need to replenish these supplies for the duration of their stay. Window AC is set up in each bedroom as well as the living room, and fans are in each bedroom as well. Window units are not operational over cold months, and are sealed from the outside. During winter months, the thermostat will be set to room temp (about 70° F). For long-term guess, pets are welcome for an additional $50/month. If more than one dog, $15 will be added per dog. We will send a separate request for payment. Pets are not allowed on beds, and right now we ask guests to refrain from using the backyard while we wait for ground cover to get established. Allowing animals, we want to stress that there may be a rogue hair here and there from previous guests, but the house is cleaned to high standards. We think it's important for traveling guests to be able to bring their whole family along without worry. Smoking is only permitted on the outside porch or outside the home.
