Perfect location for painters, writers, or as a base camp for exploring the Sandwich Range, the White Mountains, Squam Lake, Winnipesaukee, or anything in the Lakes District! The space This house is totally unplugged: there is wireless internet, but no tv, just delightful views & the rustling of leaves. Plenty of comfy places to read or just enjoy the view to the south and east from the sun porch or the screened porch. The large kitchen w gas range includes a Keurig, toaster, blender, bakeware, pots, pans & gadgets galore. Full size Washer & Dryer Guest access The entire first floor of this historic bear camp is yours to enjoy. (the 2nd floor is locked off). The mowed lawns are extensive. Read the green handbook upon arrival so you can make the most of your stay!! Everything from the quirks of the old house to where the games are stashed in this book. Other things to note The fields, woods, & wetlands are there to enjoy. Just be appropriately dressed and suitably repelled for bugs. Lots of ticks; it is New England!
