Peaceful Hilltop Retreat - View!!

Our little mobile home is the perfect getaway with a fantastic view but NO lake access. It is a cute home recently painted inside and out. It has a large covered deck. Spacious living room with “smart” TV and dine-in kitchen make it the perfect spot for a vacation! It’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean and comfortable. Nearby: Talladega Superspeedway Mt. Cheaha State Park Talladega National Forest Lakes: Logan Martin and Wedowee Birmingham: 85 miles away Atlanta: 90 miles away The space This mobile home is an older model but is clean, comfortable and has been painted inside and out. Be sure to ready "Other Details to Note" below this section. Living Room - living room has a reclining couch, smart TV and DVD player. The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed with memory foam topper, dresser, closet space and en suite. Second bedroom has a queen-size bed with memory foam topper, closet and a bathroom right outside the door. Linens, towels and washcloths provided. Kitchen - kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee pot and microwave. Equipped with dishware, flatware with a limited number of utensils. Cookware is also available. The washer and dryer are in a small room off the kitchen. Bringing an infant? Mini Crib available, 40 inches long and 25 inches wide. Lake - Across the street from a PRIVATE lake with NO access to the lake or shoreline. Surrounding Area: Venture to Talladega National Forest for a scenic drive or hike through one of Alabama's natural treasures. Drive up to the top of Mt. Cheaha, located only 17 miles away, for spectacular views from the highest point, 2,400 feet. The Talladega Superspeedway is less than an hour away and, for more family fun, head to Alabama Gold Camp for a chance to pan for gold and other treasures such as red garnets, citrine, and fossils. Oxford or Anniston are only 30 minutes away and we are centrally located south of Interstate 20 between Atlanta and Birmingham. Guest access Ample parking available. Other things to note PETS - Well behaved pets are welcome but if additional cleaning needs to occur due to excessive pet hair we will charge an additional $50 cleaning fee. Please be respectful of other guests and pick up after you pets outside. Also, be aware that there are a couple of neighborhood German Shepards that may pass through. They are very friendly to people but don’t care for small dogs so please use caution. MOBILE PHONE SERVICE - the cell phone service at the home is weak; however, you can call with your cell phone using the Wifi. INTERNET WIFI - We have satellite internet with no hard data limits; however, it can slow down significantly to 1-3 Mbps if you exceed our monthly data plan. It should still allow you surf the internet and stream movies, etc. on one device. IF that occurs and you'd like to purchase additional high speed data please let me know. The cost is $15 for an additional 5 GB. TV - There is no cable/satellite service; however, this is a Smart TV hooked up to the Wifi so you can access your subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. we also have a Blue Ray DVD player with a good movie selection. FIREWOOD - We have firewood at $10 per 5 nice "sticks". The local convenience store at Hollis Crossroads (Hwy 9 and 431) also sells small bundles of firewood for $4.99. NO SMOKING - INSIDE the mobile home; however, you are welcome to have a smoke on the covered deck. Please dispose of your cigarette butts responsibly.
