Deep Woods Ranch Cabin

The Deep Woods Ranch Cabin is located on 55 acres in the Ocala National Forest. You will have private access to our salt water pool, a cross fit style gym, board games and movies, a bumper pool table, plus paddle boards for use on our private pond. In addition, there are Ocala National Forest hiking trails running directly behind the property, so trail access is a breeze! The ranch is owned and operated by a veteran Navy SEAL, so there is Navy and Military memorabilia throughout. The space The guest cabin can sleep up to 14 in beds and has a full kitchen, living room and two full baths. We understand that most groups will not need all 14 beds so pricing starts at groups of 4 and increases per person from there. The cabin has instant on hot water instead of a water heater. What this means for you is the hot water never runs out. So if you have large groups don't worry everyone will get a hot shower. Kitchen • Refrigerator • Microwave • Stove/oven • Cookware and bakeware • Dishes and silverware • Dishwasher • Keurig coffee maker Dining • The unique custom dining table seats 8 comfortably with room for another 4 on the counter top bar. Internet and phone • There is NO internet, WIFI, and depending on your cellular provider, you may have very spotty signal. • We don’t call it Deep Woods for nothing! Family and Entertainment • TV- Although there is no cable, satellite or streaming, you can watch one of the hundreds of DVD movies provided for adults and the family. You can also link up to the TV with the supplied HDMI cable to view content from your device. • There are board games in the cabin including everyone’s favorite “Giant Connect 4 and “Giant Jenga” • We also have a pack and play and a high chair in the cabin for the really little ones! Swimming Pool • Just outside the cabin is a screened in salt water swimming pool • It’s a great place escape from the afternoon heat, or to relax and watch the sunset over the pond • Of course, there is no lifeguard on duty and guests use the pool at their own risk • Always make sure children are being supervised by a responsible adult when in the pool Outdoor Area • There are two attached screened-in patios • A charcoal grill is provided and there is often charcoal and starting fluid onsite from previous guests • There is plenty of space on the property to get out and stretch your legs or run the dogs! • We also have a designated fire pit adjacent to the cabin with some pre-cut firewood Heating and Cooling • Central air conditioning and heating • Ceiling fans • Fireplace Parking • Free parking right next to the cabin Private Training Available • If relaxing is not your thing, and you want a unique experience, the Ranch is also used as a civilian and law enforcement training center. Feel free to use the gym portion to work out. • Of course, use this equipment at your own risk and don’t let children play in the area. • Lastly, the other side of the barn is where we store tools, machines and chemicals for the ranch, so for safety reasons stay out of this area. Obstacle Course • The ranch has a military style obstacle course. Please do not climb on or otherwise use the obstacles without special permission from the host. • If specifically allowed, use this equipment at your own risk and carefully supervise children. Observation Deck -The ranch has a large elevated deck overlooking a private 35 acre lake. This deck has a safety rope around the border but not a standard enclosed railing. -If specifically allowed, use of this space is at your own risk and carefully supervise children.
