Water's Edge on Cayuga Lake

Water's Edge on Cayuga is a private drive-to 3 bedroom house on the west shore of Cayuga Lake with plenty of lake level parking. The house also has eat-in kitchen, living room, spacious sunporch, 1 1/2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, gas grill, Smart TV, WiFi, large deck, enormous dock and over 170 feet of lake front with easy water access. Great location to relax with friends and family, enjoy the regional hiking trails, visit local wineries and breweries and distilleries too! The space We are happy you have selected Water’s Edge for your vacation. There’s a lot to do on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, Seneca Lake Wine Trail, Ithaca’s Sciencenter, the Museum of the Earth, Farmers Markets in Trumansburg and Ithaca to mention a few and of course a visit to Myer Farm Distillers is a must! Enjoy the 170+ feet of private lakefront drive-to easy access. Plenty of space to spread out and soak up some sunshine. Guests are allowed to have beach fire in designated area, but you must follow NYS firewood requirements of the season. A few other things we would like you to be aware of while you enjoy your stay. In case of Emergency – CALL 911 The fire extinguisher behind the kitchen door. You have 5G WiFi - password available upon arrival. NO SMOKING inside the house or on the deck at anytime. Seneca County Recycles cardboard, glass and certain plastics. There is a brochure with more details. The bins are at the north end of the house and will be emptied by Landlord weekly. Trash bins are located at the north end of the house as well. PLEASE BE SURE THE LIDS ARE SECURE AT NIGHT, otherwise you will have critters making a mess. These bins will also be emptied by the Landlord weekly. Please put the umbrella down in evening and in high winds. Also know that any light-weight chairs may get blown off the dock if left out in high winds or storms. The tap water is safe to drink, it was tested by the Seneca County Environmental Department in June 2020. Kayak’s are available to use at your own risk – life jackets are required. Be sure they are pulled safely up the beach after use. The boat hoist is NOT available to Tenants unless prior arrangements have been made. Fishing in NYS requires a license – you can get it on-line at takemefishing.org – they do occasionally stop by dock to confirm whoever is fishing is licensed. Fireworks are illegal in New York State. Many people love to ignite them while on vacation. If you should choose to do so at your own risk – PLEASE BE SAFE AND EXERCISE CAUTION! Additionally, recognize the neighboring properties are residential and may have to go to work during the weekday to be respectful and keep your celebration to Friday, Saturday, Sunday please.
