Our rural setting has the gamut of outdoor activities at your fingertips, please visit the USFS Wind River Ranger station for advice on sight seeing, roads, lakes, rivers, fishing, hiking and any permit needed for your activities. Summertime is here when the livin’ is easy, and our magical mountain town comes out of hibernation just like the bears and, truly comes alive with new life, color, activities and travelers. The best activities are world-class fishing, hiking, wildlife sight-seeing, rafting, National park visits, dude ranch activities, square dancing, rodeos and more. These excursions can be enjoyed on your own or guided. Our museum and Chamber will also be able to suggest any great town happenings.
