🌿Storybook tiny cabin with a youthful feel. The Hiker's Grotto is available to campers that boasts a spacious lounge area, kitchen, showers and bathrooms to refuel from your outdoor adventures. Beware light sleepers… the Union Pacific Train will blow its horn a few times throughout the evening. 🎶 May you be enriched in body, mind and soul! 🌿 There is a Keurig for coffee. There is a toilet that is given privacy by pulling a curtain, and there is a sink. The cabin is heated and cooled, and has hot water... very small water heater. There is room to roam the surrounding woods and watch the train. Plenty of fire wood to scrounge up without having to cut down any trees. There is a fire pit and a grill that can be cooked on. Feel free to check out the area, there are 7 acres or so to explore. Be aware that there are many hazards in the woods from snakes to loose footing areas and the occasional tripping hazard. There are a lot of briars that have thorns throughout the less groomed areas that can cut you quickly. The creek has some deep spots that aren't safe for small children. Please be safe because we want you to have an enjoyable, relaxing experience! We are near the property and are available 24/7 during your stay. The best way to contact us in case of emergency is to call Rob but normal communication can be done through Airbnb. Between Rob and Kami, there is always someone to respond pretty quick on Airbnb. The historic Union Pacific Railroad is a close to this property and you will be able to hear it. The cabin is right off the road yet sits in a cozy nest of greenery to give you that escape that you need from reality. You can find everything that you might need at Walmart 10 minutes down the way in Clarksville or take a couple minutes to go to Dollar General to pick up fun snacks or any other necessities while on your getaway. Stay for a night or a week and you'll have all you need! Three miles down the road into the city of Lamar, there is a little café called "Sweet Treats". They open at 11am-2pm Monday-Friday for lunch. Other eating locations near that café is "Big Poppa's BBQ" and "DJs". There is also another treehouse that will sleep 2, another cabin that sleeps 3, our newest cabin that sleeps 2 and a dry camping cabin in woods that sleeps 3/4 on the same property for larger groups to book together. Put Lamar, Ar in your search area and all of the Mountain Eight cabins will come up.
