SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS for 10 people Bedroom 1 - The spacious, "Master" has a Queen bed with spectacular views of Russian Hill, crooked Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf area, Marin and of course the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a "sitting area" with a comfortable large sofa for private relaxation and an ensuite full bathroom with shower and bath tub, linen closet. There is a large closet within the bedroom. Bedroom 2 - The second bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed with lovely views of Nob Hill and Russian Hill. Living Room - A European designed sofa converts to a full size bed Blue Sitting Room Area / 2nd “Living room” - Two couches folds down into full size beds Transportation: Half block walk to closest bus stop and another bus stop 2 1/2 blocks away has multi bus lines. Uber and Lyft are quick and reasonably price options. I don't drive as this is more convenient and cheaper than driving. THE KITCHEN Fully equipped modern kitchen has a four burner gas range, microwave oven, conventional oven, fridge, garbage disposal and an array of gourmet kitchen tools and a variety of gorgeous serving platters to create beautiful delicious home-cooked meals. Appliances includes rice cooker, coffee maker, French Press Coffee makers, Chopsticks, Chargers -- EVERYTHING! A top of the line Traeger Smoker and a BBQ Grill with a fire pit (all self service) are on the deck waiting for you! The penthouse is set up to host philanthrophic charitable endeavors, everything is top notch. There are meat and produce markets several blocks away in Chinatown. North Beach is down the hill within five minutes walk to Molinari Delicatessen on Columbus for fresh pasta, meat sauces, cheese and spices!Trader Joe's is only ten minutes walk or less. Two neighborhoodl corner stores are within one block distance and an organic "Nature Shop" is only three blocks away. Our dining area is bright, sunny and an elegant yet comfortable place to enjoy meals surrounded by city views. THE BATHROOMS Both bathrooms have showers and bath tubs. There is shampoo, conditioner, soap, blow dryer, cotton balls, q-tips, toilet paper, a blow dryer and a limited supply of feminine products for emergencies. In fact, Mark Twain stated, " the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in SF". Living in the city does not require air conditioning as the city's weather is mild year round and is very unusual to experience extreme temperatures. However, temperatures can fluctuate during the course of the day, so please prepare by wearing "layers" when on you go "out" for the day. There are a few fans, if needed. LAUNDRY We have a washer and a dryer in the penthouse for your convenience. The building also has laundry room with coin operated machines. An iron is in the unit. Guest access The entire home is for your exclusive use during the entire time, including the deck. Interaction with guests: We either greet you personally or call by phone. There is self check in key pad for your convenience. We love people and interaction but also respect privacy. That being said I am available for any questions and/or help. I am a third generation San Franciscan native and know the city quite well. Restaurant recommendations, places to explore & adventures, theater, performing arts events, and other "activities to do" are available anytime. Guest access Only guests that are part of the reservation. Absolutely NO parties allowed. Other things to note Drop and Relax, early check ins by advance arrangements and with permission. Luggage can sometimes be dropped off earlier at guests own discretion, risk with absolute waiver of any and all liabilities. Professional cleaners may be in unit while you are away before the check-in time during storage of your luggage. PARKING - SO MANY OPTIONS! There is limited street parking in the neighborhood. Most spaces have two hour limit between Monday - Saturday 8 am - 9 pm, hence car must be moved every two hours. Parking at 7pm in the evening to 10am in the morning is great. Since the time limit doesn't apply on Sunday, you can leave it from 7pm Saturday night to 10am Monday morning. City rules change so please check the latest via internet and for all street signs regarding street cleaning and such. Parking Garages are located several blocks away. North Beach Garage on Vallejo charges approximately $3 per hour or $30 for 9-24 hours. Early Bird Special: Enter before 10am and leave before 7pm, is $16. You can alternate between the garage during the day and street at night and save $14 if you desire. This garage is open 24 hours. There is the Vallejo Street Garage which charges $27 daily maximum and $16 Early Bird Special. This garage closes its gates at 10pm Sunday-Thursday and 2am Friday and Saturday. The Powell Street Parking garage is around $12 for a weekday from morning to about 6pm with closing hours between 10 pm and 2 am depending on the which day. The price increases on evenings and weekends but you can park for free in the evenings on the street. Again, park in garage during the day and street park at night will save money if you choose. A neighboring building about 1/2 block away also offers very convenient enclosed garage parking if available at $50 for each night, but you get in and out privileges anytime. RULES: 1) It's a smoke free unit. NO SMOKING ALLOWED inside or outside. 2) Absolutely NO OUTSIDE GUESTS ALLOWED overnight. Revoke of premises if this is done. 3) NO LOUD NOISES 4) ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES 5) NO Lighting Candles or other inflammatory items. 6) Broken and Missing Items will be charged after inventory. 7) Although there is a professional cleaning service.....All Garbage IN Cans please to keep penthouse clean for others. 8) Please respect and keep the home tidy as if it is your own.
