Ozarks Nightly Rentals, Family House

Our cozy home is located right down the road from the West Plains Historic Downtown area, MSU-WP campus, and Civic Center. Great place to stay during the Ozark Heritage & music festival or the HOBA music festival. It’s about 15 minutes from Legit Speedway Park and only about a 30 minute drive from any of the surrounding Rivers and Mills of the Ozarks! We are pet friendly! Be sure and check out the house rules for more information and details. The space Welcome to our cozy two bedroom Airbnb. This home is located close to historic downtown West Plains. It can comfortably sleep six in the two bedrooms and an additional 2 can sleep on the sofa bed. We have provided a fully equipped kitchen for your convenience. *The front porch has stairs although entry is through the back door which has only two small steps: one up to the porch and another into the house). There are no stairs in the house. *The basement (not part of the rental) has a separate entry. You may occasionally hear someone in the basement as this space is where we keep extra supplies for all of our rentals. *The point of entry is through the laundry room, which is equipped with a new washer and dryer as well as with an ironing board. An extra dining room table and chairs is in this area, which would be convenient for a workspace, for playing games (some are provided in the cupboard), or folding laundry. *Wireless WiFi is provided and the smart television has built in Roku which allows you to stream various free shows or to utilize your favorite streaming apps. *Towels are for showering/bathing only. They are not to be used for pet care, car care, or use away from the home. *Pets are welcome (but please be considerate of other guests and keep them off the furniture). Pets are not to be left inside the main house when the owners are not there unless they are in a kennel (bring your own kennel). However, they can be left in the laundry room area if the door is closed preventing the pet’s unattended entry into the main house. This area is heated/air-conditioned, so your pet will be comfortable. *Pets must be on a leash when outside. Be sure and fully read the house rules for more information on pets and pet fees. Guest access Before arrival I will text you the code to the lock on the back door. (Please note: Pets must be registered and pet fees paid before a code can be given). Parking is behind the house. Please be sure not to block the shared driveway (the street entrance between the houses). There is a backup area for turning around towards the back fence or, when available, the circle drive may be used by the adjoining airbnb on the north side. Other things to note *Trash pickup runs on Thursday. Please put your trash from inside into the outside can the night before. We usually come by early Thursday morning to put the trash can down by the street. *We own the house on the north side of this property which is also a neighboring Airbnb and shares a circle driveway! This would be convenient when vacationing with friends and family. (They don’t share calendars and all bookings and associated Airbnb fees apply). See The Hummingbird House for more details. West Plains is a nice little city in the center of the Ozarks. It boasts various antique stores and flea markets, a quilt shop, a disc golf course, and regular golf courses. We are within driving distance of many rivers and mills. Legit Speedway Park is only a few minutes drive. Nearby Glass Sword Cinema, S&S Skateland, and Lightning Bowl bowling alley are some great entrainment options. Casey’s general store is a 5 minute walk south on St. Louis street (the sidewalk is across the road on the east side). This convenience store offers a variety of food services (including a tasty pizza). A few of our favorite restaurants include: El Charro, Ozark’s Cafe, Fish Shack, Jimmies Family restaurant and Kikos Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Lounge.
