Comfortable, fully furnished, 1920's house in quiet Old North Durham neighborhood where you can walk to food, drink, and downtown. Great for business travelers and families. 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Back deck with grill and dining space, plus a fire pit in the huge fenced yard. Currently, we are only accepting rentals of at least four weeks. Please contact us with any questions. The space This is a lovely old house in a classic Durham neighborhood just north of downtown. It has all the charm you might expect from a 1920s bungalow, and while the rooms would probably be considered small by modern standards, there is plenty of room to relax. There are old walnut and chestnut trees in the yard, and a nice porch and deck to enjoy the outdoors. And you just can't beat the location. The house is a 5 minute walk (we timed it!) to local hangouts like Motorco, Fullsteam Brewery, Hutchins Garage, Cocoa Cinnamon, et al. The Durham Performing Arts Center, Durham Bulls ballpark, American Tobacco District, and all of the dining, drinks, and funky fun downtown has to offer, are mere minutes away. Duke University and Duke Hospitals are within 3 miles. Guest access Full kitchen and dining room, living room with ample seating, master bedroom with king bed and en suite bath, two bedrooms with queen beds, full guest bathroom, washer/dryer. Outside areas include a small front porch - great for enjoying a morning or evening beverage, a back deck with a gas grill and dining table, and a large fenced, shaded back yard with a fire pit. Other things to note Guests may park on both sides of the house. Off street parking for three cars plus plenty of free on street parking.
