Green Sky Cabin

A quintessential PNW cabin awaits! It's cozy but deceptively spacious and very functional. Just 15 minutes away from Steven's pass and at the gateway to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Come get away from the city and enjoy the small town feel of beautiful Skykomish. Perfectly located for all your adventures -- from skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing to hiking, biking, climbing, fishing and kayaking. The space Named for the tall green trees it is nestled among, Green Sky Cabin is located at the end of the road for total privacy and has all the comforts of home. We have a new hot tub as of July 2022, ready for the fall and winter! There is a big screen TV, Wifi, and a comfortable dining nook. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and includes a coffee maker and supplies, an oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a propane BBQ on the deck for guest use. There is also a washing machine and dryer for clothes. There is a train track close to the property which can be an exciting way to get to the cabin from Seattle. But the train can be heard going by at the cabin so we have provided ear plugs for sensitive sleepers (in the bathroom drawers) as well as a white noise machine. There are three sleeping spaces- one bedroom downstairs and two loft rooms upstairs. Two of the spaces have full size beds and the third one has three twin beds. Please note the staircase is fairly narrow and steep. Enjoy a closet full of puzzles and games that are perfect for some indoor time at the cabin. Sliding glass doors open to an outdoor fire pit. There is a picnic table on the side of the house in the summers for dinners outside or for painting rocks (paints provided). A new deck and high speed fiber internet are here to welcome you! Come work from home! Guest access We are completely key-less entry. You will receive a code the day before your arrival that is specific to you. It will be available for use from check in until check out time. Other things to note Please note the distance of our cabin - it is up in the mountains. There is a gas station with minimal convenience needs in Skykomish, but the nearest grocery store is 17 miles away in Gold Bar. Firewood is sold along the way on Highway 2, plan to purchase some before you come, so you can enjoy a warm fire during your stay.
