Cottage with redwoods! Walk to Village! Yard!

Welcome to my lovely little studio cottage in the charming Victorian town of Ferndale! Located on historic Main Street, a few blocks walk from downtown with its many shops, cafes and restaurants. The cottage is private with redwoods in the backyard, a creek and open pasture land out the back door. The cottage is cozy with a kitchenette, comfy queen bed, large bathroom, propane heater, Roku TV, internet, private yard. The space You will love the studio in the redwoods! Great private location at the back of the property with a private yard surrounded by redwood trees! You will love views of the creek and open pasture land from the back deck. Watch the cows and deer graze from the back yard! Imagine enjoying a cup of tea on your back deck while listening to birds chirp in the redwood trees and cows moo in the pastures. The cottage is recently refurnished and cozy, clean and feels like home! Rinnai propane wall heater for warmth on those foggy days. There is a queen bed with memory foam mattress as well as a futon that makes into a queen bed, also with a memory foam mattress. The kitchenette has microwave, induction burners, Wolf countertop oven and apartment sized refrigerator with top freezer (no standalone stove/oven). Large bathroom with a shower. There is Roku TV and internet in the cottage, too, and a fire table in the yard. Note base price is for up to two guests. $10/night/additional guest, maximum 4 total guests. This is a pet (dogs only) friendly property, but there is an additional charge of $50 per pet. There is a larger house on the property that is available to rent for larger groups or if you just want more room, and driveway is shared with that unit (lots of room for parking). Generally the minimum stay is 31 nights but please contact me if you are interested in a shorter stay as I may be able to accommodate you. For stays over 30 nights guests may be asked to sign a long term lease to augment AirBnb agreement, at host's discretion. CLEANING: For stays of 4 weeks or more there will be mandatory “maid service” cleaning every 2-3 weeks at a cost of $30 each time. The initial $100 cleaning charge covers the first month, but an additional $30 will be charged for each additional two week period through the Airbnb resolution center once the stay commences. “Maid service” includes kitchen and bathroom cleaning as well as linen change and will be scheduled at the guest's convenience (subject to cleaner's availability). The same “maid service” is optional for others who might want an additional cleaning during their stay. Guest access You will have exclusive access to the cottage and adjoining yard. The driveway will be shared with tenants of the other house on the property (if any). Other things to note Visitors are allowed only between 7 am and 10 pm per city regulations. For stays 30 nights or less the city requires a 10% occupancy tax. This tax is NOT included in the AirBNB fee and will be billed and charged separately and remitted to the city by owner. I have a Nest Protect smoke/CO alarm. Google indicates there is a microphone in the Nest Protect that comes on only during the monthly test solely for the purpose of verifying the alarm sounded during the test. It is not used for active listening but some people aren’t comfortable with Google products. I have disabled sound check so supposedly that deactivates the microphone.
