Come enjoy our completely remodeled vintage 1962 Shasta camper. The "canned ham" was a favored family camper beginning in 1941. Our Shasta is parked for you to enjoy here in the Nantahala Gorge. The interior sports a flip-down sofa/full-size bed, table, water, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker (but no stove). It has power for lighting, fan or heater, and receptacles. Toilets / showers are in the Lodge. The outside has a Sunbrella, two chairs, and a “pink flamingo.” (NO PETS this unit.) The space Gorgeous Stays was created and is hosted by a mother-daughter team who are inspired by the tiny house movement and the adventure of the outdoors. Each of the themed tiny houses and Glamping Tents were carefully crafted for comfort and uniqueness. Night time convenience toilets and other amenities are in each house and tent to make your stay easy and fun. Our lodge provides the main restrooms in our five-star camp bathhouse with vessel sinks, changing rooms, hot showers and toilets! It is a small retreat, so you'll never be overwhelmed by crowds. Plus, all of the work has been done for you! Gorgeous Stays has places to relax by the stream, games for sunny or rainy days and friendship. There are six community fire pits, two food pavilions and propane grills to keep the evenings relaxing. You can watch the stars and listen to the stream and let your stress melt away. Guest access At Gorgeous Stays guests have access to the Upper Lodge Level: huge covered deck with lounge furniture, fire pit, tables. Indoor living room with tables, sofa, fireplace, restroom, TV, DVDs, Wifi and board games. Lower Lodge Level: new camp bathrooms with toilets, showers, soaps and changing areas. Grounds: stream, two food pavilions, relaxation furniture on streamside platforms, six shared campfire pits, propane grills, lawn games. The little Camp Store in the Lodge has food, snacks, small meals, coffee, ice cream, sundry items and firewood.
