This private cabin retreat is great for romantic getaways or time away with family and friends, with two bedrooms, one bath, and a small loft. You will find plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors - relax in the hot tub overlooking the river, lounge on the decks, or gather around the fire. River Rock Cottage is a 40 min drive to Stevens Pass Ski Resort, 1 hr and 25 mins to Leavenworth, and surrounded by miles of hiking and bike trails. Guests will have private access to the cabin, hot tub, and surrounding property. The cabin is a riverfront home with a full kitchen and bath (including dishes and cooking implements, Keurig and standard coffee maker, sheets and towels), direct river access, decks with views and outdoor furnishing, hot tub, fire pit with seating area, hammock, and board games. Surrounded by hiking trails and nature. This is a cabin in the woods which may require guest assistance. We will be available by phone, text, or email if guests have any questions about property or the area. The cabin is located in a gated community. Neighboring cabins are not far away, but surrounding trees and landscape create privacy. This is a mountain community with many vacation rental homes by the Skykomish River. It is a remote and secluded location about 15 minutes to the nearest town of Index. The neighborhood is accessed by a gravel roadway which is maintained by the community. The cabin is about ten minutes down a gravel road, and 15-20 from the closest town. The cabin is about 650 sq ft. total. It will accommodate 4-5 guests comfortably. Please note that the road to the cabin, off highway 2 is an unpaved gravel road and may be rough for some vehicle types. We do not allow pets due to Kris' allergies. This is not a suitable location for parties or events. In this remote location, cell service is spotty. However, the wifi internet in the cabin allows guests to connect. Cabin has three TVs (one in main living area and one in each bedroom) equipped with Amazon Fire that connect to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon providing movies and TV series that you can stream, typically without any issues.
