Heat / AC throughout with two queen beds in separate bedrooms and a comfy couch in the main living room. The space Step back in time while still enjoying modern amenities. High-speed internet available and strong cell signal for Verizon — weaker but there for AT&T. Chill on the covered front porch in a rocking chair or the open deck just off of the kitchen exit. Head out back away from the street to acres of lawn. Miss Wilhoit loved her flowers -- no telling what is in bloom depending on when you come. There's a nature trail to walk back through the woods -- private property that you are welcome to walk yourself and/or your doggies. Deer hunting season in the Uwharrie National Forest between Thanksgiving and New Year's every year, so bring your blaze orange. Morrow Mountain State Park is 15 minutes away with no hunting allowed for hikers. Jeep trails are open April 1 - December 15. Guest access Entire house is yours and yours alone. We'll provide a door-code so you can let yourself in unaccompanied. For our return guests (we only started hosting in 2019) we've added a brand new deck for hanging out and made the master bedroom a bit more mastery. Other things to note We have always prided ourselves on how sparkling clean we keep the place. Even still, we have enhanced our cleaning routines and sanitize everything between guests.
