Home in Exeter
Description
Our home is close to historic downtown Exeter, NH and Phillips Exeter Academy. There's plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your time in the region. Visit shops in town, local trails, nearby beaches, or just visit with family or friends in our cheery home! The space Sunny, cheerful, quaint space. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, and sunroom on the first floor and three bedrooms each with a full size bed on the second floor. The house has a small backyard and a charcoal grill for the warmer times of the year and is perfect for small get-togethers. Guest access Guests have a private driveway, backyard, and first and second floor living space access. It's like being at your own home! Other things to note Due to the age of the house (1870's) the house does not have central air conditioning. There are multiple in-window air conditioners for the house but not in all rooms. Box fans are also provided to move the air efficiently. While most summer days here are not overly hot, we do get some stretches where it can be. Similarly, in the 1870's New Englander style homes they made staircases, like the one to the second floor in this home, more narrow and a little steeper than is the standard for new construction these days. While many consider this part of the charm of our house we mention it here if for some reason your personal steadiness on a stairwell is a concern as all bedrooms are located on the second floor.
