You'll see more deer, eagles and seals than people. You won't be in close contact with anyone the entire time you're here. Secluded on the eastern shore of Oro Bay on Anderson Island, about 90 minutes from Seattle. Enjoy all the beauty the Puget Sound has to offer. Kayak, paddle board, beach comb, golf. Experience some of the most amazing sunsets in the Puget Sound. *Minimum Age To Book: 25 Years* The space *MINIMUM AGE TO BOOK: 25 Years* This spacious and sunny 2,500 square foot beach home has everything you need to create memories to last a lifetime. There's lots of space to congregate with your friends and family and still have plenty of privacy when you want it. There are two upstairs master bedroom suites. The South Suite has a king bed, vaulted ceilings, ceiling fan and ensuite with a jetted tub. The North Suite has a queen bed and a single daybed with an ensuite. Both bedroom suites have large flat screen TVs and private decks with spectacular ocean and island views. On the main level is a third bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is another full bath with washer and dryer also on the main level. In the living room you'll find a leather sleeper sofa. The living room is great for congregating, enjoying the sunset or watching the 48" flat screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen, bar and dining area open to the huge entertainment deck where you'll find a hot tub (seats 5-6 comfortably), gas grill, gas fire table and a complete set of patio furniture so you can enjoy the spectacular view to the fullest. Just a few steps to the beach are 3 kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards at no additional charge. The calm waters of Oro bay make for some of the smoothest paddling you'll find anywhere. Expect to see our resident seals and eagles. An easy 10 minute paddle brings you across Oro Bay to Jacobs Point Aquatic Reserve and the Oro Bay Marina. More experienced paddlers can circle the island or head for nearby Ketron Island. If you're lucky you'll see the Orca and Humpback whales, seals and porpoises that frequently visit southern Puget Sound. We have a buoy right in front of the house if you'd like to bring your boat. Not available for parties or events. Guest access You'll have the entire home, property and beach to yourselves. The dock is not available to guests but you'll have full access to the beach. There's plenty of parking on site. 4 cars maximum. Garages not available to guests. Other things to note Grocery and restaurant options on the island are limited. There is one small general store on the island. It has fairly limited grocery items like milk, eggs, bread, snacks, beverages, beer and wine. Do your grocery shopping on the mainland before sailing. There are 2 restaurants on the island with fairly limited hours. There's lots of great restaurants, shopping, spas and services in Steilacoom within walking distance of the the ferry dock on the mainland side. You should purchase ferry tickets online in advance of departure. The ferry is first come/first serve. GPS does not always work well on the island. Print or download directions in advance. Limited street lights on roads.
